evaluating an offer...

after a year of purgatory, it looks like my company is again considering to transfer me to HK. i have to admit that i'm not exactly sure if this is the "right" opportunity for me, but have promised to consider the offer as objectively as possible. so while my company scrambles to put together an offer, i thought i'd do some more research on my end!

one of my biggest questions is about tax liability-- if i understand correctly, i will be responsible for 2 years HK income tax upfront, plus contribution to MPF. if am a US citizen, what will be my liability to the US gov't during my time in HK? US social security?

thanks!
