Don't know how to use my washer/dryer!

Hi all.... I attempted to do laundry today, and discovered that I have no idea how to work the washer in my place. It is a Whirlpool AWG3800 washer/dryer combo (which i have never seen before), and I don't have a manual. I googled it and found a manual in Chinese, which does not help at all. I've flipped through all the switches in my kitchen, and for a brief moment the clothes spun around and then stopped. No water went in...
So does anyone here have the same or similar washer/dryer that could shed some light on how to use this? I don't want to have to bring my laundry somewhere else....

Thanks!

jennifer

Not the same machine but on mine if you don't turn the dial to the exact starting point it will do the whole load with no water - totally weird , sometimes it takes three starts to get the right spot so the water goes in.
