Where to buy "grey market" phone?

Where are "grey market"/"water goods" mobile phones sold?
I believe I've heard somewhere around Mong Kok or Sham Shui Po, but I've been to both places but only found "legit" phones

I'm interested in the Toshiba TX-62 (sold in Smartone/Vodafone shops), but the genuine Japanese version (Toshiba 705T) would be cooler (Japanese characters on the keypad and Japanese input -cool as I've started studying Japanese). So as long as everything else is the same as the "genuine" HK version I don't mind getting the Japanese version, and perhaps even save a few bucks in the process

Where in MK did you look? Did you try the "cell phone mall"? how about the AV centre, next to exit E2? The stores there commonly have "water goods" but more cameras, electronics than phones.

You dont care about the warranty or you go to Japan frequently? If you buy a Japanese phone with a HK address on your invoice they may not even service you warranty in Japan. Cool v. practical?

In Mongkok the phone mall is on Argyle St between Tung Choi Street and Sai Yeung Choi St right next to the Sunday store. Scores of different vendors offering phones from UK, Japan, Thailand, etc. Also on Sai Yeung Choi St South there are a couple of grey vendors.

I get your point, but since I don't live in HK I figure it won't make much difference.
I assume they'll let you return the phone within a few days if it turns out that it's dead on arrival etc.

I'm going to check out the "Cell phone mall" mentoned here if I find it (any more details on where it is?). Other places where they sell grey market phones?

Sorry about asking so many questions .....
But to save time running around Mong Kok, I looked up Sunday's website ("where to find Sunday") and found their Mong Kok locations:

Mon to Sun & Public Holidays : 11:00 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Langham Place
Shop 19, B2, Langham Place, 8 Argyle Street, Mongkok, Kln
Mon - Sun and Public Holidays : 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Pioneer Center
Shop 22A, G/F, Pioneer Center, 750 Nathan Road, Mongkok, Kowloon.

Bank Center
G/F., 64 Sai Yeung Choi Street South, Mongkok Kln.
