Silicon Skin

what is the market price for one of those mobile phone skins? Was quoted $35HK in Wanchai last week but I walked thinking it should be lower.

Sheesh, that's only four and half US dollars. Do you really care?

A friend got an ipod nano skin for USD3, so maybe you could have saved a buck and a half.

Forget about Silicon skins ..

this is what we recommend ... get someone in the US to ship you a few InvisibleSHIELDs.

Quote:
The invisibleShield is made from a film that was originally created by the military to protect helicopter blades from wear and tear (ironically, Shieldzone doesn’t offer helicopter blade protection — sorry helicopter enthusiasts) and is advertised to be made out of the toughest, most durable screen protector on the planet.

Just to get back on topic ...

Oh, I've seen the silicon skins for $33 in Mongkok. Unfortunately, I suspect they might be cheaper because of the underpaid child labor being used in the shop.

The skins are normally between $25 and $35 depending on phone model. Cheapest I've seen is a little telecoms shop in Cheung Sha Wan Plaza. I just always use the screen covers similar to those Kia was refering too. Cost about $20 in Mongkok.
