Smile Refund Policies

We know America's policies on Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges...

But what are the policies in Hong Kong for such things.

For example, I bought the wrong brand of vitamins from Watson's, what is their policy if I want a refund from an unopened package of vitamins...
and other things... any thoughts on the subject?

Cheers.

There was a similar thread about this yesterday which appeared, inexplicably, in the Sports and Fitness forum. The general view seems to be that it is difficult to get a refund, easier to get an exchange, and the best policy is to just go instore and ask.

If an item is unopened and you are dealing with the like of Watsons and Mannings you should be OK for an exchange if you have the receipt.
I once bought some shampoo from Mannings and after the first few uses the pump refused to work. I took it back to ask if they could figure out why and they just gave me a new one no questions asked. Best service I've had this year.

I just came back from Watson's. They have a 14-day Satisfaction Guarantee. They are willing to exchange or issue a refund of any item within 14 days, granted that you have a receipt of course. Credit Card transactions take 6 weeks to re-process... but it's not bad.

i absolutely hate the fact that no clothing shop offers a return or refund...

many will only exchange for same item different size
its pathetic...

why cant i buy something...take it home to normal lighting and mirrors and a healthier (less grouchy) mindset to decide if i want to keep

we went to a bag store...my gf liked a bag on display and said we will buy if there is a new one...
they said yes...we purchase using eps...then they say..."oh sorry..all out...take this damaged dirty one for NO discount instead"

we bitched and moaned for 30 mins and they still wouldnt budge.
never left the store, and wouldnt give exchange no refund, and no new bag

bastards

Matt, you fell in a trap. You pay after you've checked that the item you are going to buy satisfies you. You bring the new bag, I check it and then I pay or no business with me. If you pay first and the seller is unfair, then you get cheated.

Never pay until you've inspected the item that is being packed for you.

Even in posh brand name places, you have every right (and some might say duty) to inspect the final product that you're paying for.
