| In the US most property insurers will handle jewelery. I assume HK is the same, especially with the bigger insurers. My normal US policy handles anything up to $1,000 or $2,000; anything over that requires a Personal Article Floater. It isn't very expensive. You will have to have the item(s) appraised and submit the appraisals with the insurance request. Should be able to handle everything over the fax or scan and email.
I have asked my company about this type of insurance and they are supposed to provide me with some names in HK, but I haven't seen anything yet. |
