| Furniture? Hey everyone, Am moving to HK in about a month. I am looking to buy a few pieces for our new home like a coffee table, a dining table set, a computer/study desk etc. When I came about a month back, everyone referred me to Ikea. I would like to see a wider variety though. Is there anything besides Ikea? If so, which area? I will be living in Taikoo. Last edited by Ethereal; 05-08-2006 at 01:57 PM. |

| depending on what's your budget. u can get fairly cheap stuffs at DSC (direct sales company i think). the windsor building oppt ikea, 15th floor. at taikoo, u might want to go to jusco. they have just a small corner for furniture, but surprisingly i always happen to find what i want there. fairly practical stuffs. pricerite is qutie a big chain for furnitures meant for the locals. other than that, i think wanchai (southern side) have quite a few furniture stores with more 'character' than the off the shelf practical stuffs. |
