Hi,

I'm looking for an old computer game, "Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom." Does anyone know any software stores which might carry something like this? It was released in 2002. A legal version would be preferable, but not required. A Chinese language version is ok.

No, I didn't try ebay because I live in Moscow, and it would be a pain to get something shipped there, I believe. I searched the city for this game, but to no avail. I thought I might be able to find it in China when I went there on vacation. I didn't get around to it on the mainland, so I'm hoping I can find it in Hong Kong before I leave.

The internet cafe in Yangshuo where I am now has it in their collection of games playable online, so I'm hopeful.

I know Japanese are CRAZY for video/computer games. If it is possible for you, you should try someplace in Japan

They have a shopping center for video games and they have also pretty old stuff (or new, if you like) like all kinds of DVD of really old movies for $25 apiece.

Thanks for the help. I ended up going to Wanchai 188, where I found it and a few other things on the third floor.
