| Computer based TV recorder (DVR) via USB
This is probably not the right topic for this forum but I will try anyway since folks here have been informative and helpful.
I will be in HK next week and one of task to do is to help my mom built a DVR to record tv shows. The notebook I am using is a P3 500 device I was planning to use a USB tuner box to record. But I cannot find if they sell it in hong kong and at what price. I have a number of them to choose from in the States but I cannot find it online in hong kong. Does anyone know how much a usb tuner with hardware encoding will cost in hong kong ? Specifically Hauppauge WinTV-PVR USB2 or Winfast Walkie TV or AVerMedia M038 ?
