I'm visiting HK and would have seen a few very interesting phones that I can't get back home. One of them is the Toshiba TX-62 by SmartTone-Vodafone for $ 2880. I believe it's the same phone as the Vodafone 705T sold in Japan by Vodafone, though I'm not 100% sure about that. I sure like those hi-tech looking Japanese handsets!

I'm seriously considering one of those, but I'm having trouble finding enough information about it prior to any purchase, so I'd appreciate some pointers and help:

1. The software supplied mentions Windows, but I'm using an Apple Mac. Is there dedicated software around for this phone, or 3rd party software that will allow me to transfer music and other files?
2. I believe I've seen a gray import of this phone somewhere, with Japanese characters on the keyboard, but can't remember where. Are there other places than the SmartTone/Vodafone shops where I can get it?

Any other comments regarding this phone? Anything I should keep in mind? Downsides? Other comments or suggestions for similar phones?
