don't these ppl have exclusive distribution agreement for each different countries. It'd be easier to go to an agent instead of the original distributor

Yep .. you're right. Didn't think about it. Sony is probably not going to sell to you unless you're an authorised disti.

You can always buy from disties. I'd call up a couple of them for quotation and see who gives the biggest discount.

But most of them won't deal with you without a BR.
