| perm residency in HK hi i'm an aust citizen, (born in HK, have an old pre-97 HK ID card) thinking of living in HK for an extended period (about 3-5yrs). is it possible?, what do i need to apply for? (visas, residency, new ID card). i trade forex through a US account for a living, so was also wondering about tax? do i pay aussie tax, or HK tax? cheers hos |

| suggest you contact hk immigration... i believe that unless you were born to at least one HK perm res, just being born here isn't enough.... but immigration are really helpful and quite prompt in replying to enquiries... |
