Hi everyone,

What does one do with ancient electric appliances that do not work well enough to donate to charities or schools? Are there facilities that recycle parts or is the land-fill the only alternative (hope not!!)? Any ideas?

You could possibly pass them on to the stalls selling similar items on Ap Liu Street. A last ditch would be to give them to a scrap merchant.

Also, the EPD was able to provide a list of local recyclers so if anyone else needs to discard stuff, there are alternatives to landfills!
