Coffee drip filter for cà phê sữa đá

I am REALLY starting to miss being able to get good vietnamese ice coffee... I've yet to find a viet cafe in HK that uses french roast coffee beans and a proper drip filter...

I've decided to make it at home. I used to do this back home too

Does anyone know where I could find one of these? I'll be checking all the 'home centres' later today...

Note, it's not a french press. It allows the water to steep a bit in the coffee while dripping. With a good french roast this makes for an amazingly bold coffee, and with sweet syrupy condensed milk and ice... oh man!

I guess nobody else could come up with ideas either

I checked all the home centers and department stores in my area.. Tons of french presses, italian percolators, and american drip machines. But nothing like this!

My best idea would be something in Kowloon City. However that wasn't the most convenient idea for me today. I'll give it a shot tomorrow I guess.

Wish me luck!

Well I gave the french press a try.. Not bad, but definitely not strong enough. Going to use more coffee next time, and let it sit a bit longer

French press = more cleanup too
