| I went to Club 9 on Saturday night. I have no connections with it.
It is at No.9 (top floor) Galleria Queens Road Central, near the HSBC building.
I spent most of the time on the roof terrace looking up at central skyline, including Jardine House and the Princes Building. Outside, there is a selection of seating including bar type stools, 'sofas' and recliners that you can kick off your shoes off, lay back and relax on. The fountains, lighting, sculptures and jazz music all added to the very nice ambience. Inside the club they played the usual US mainstream r n' b type stuff. Occassionally they also projected the video of whatever tune they were playing near the ceiling.
The crowd seemed pretty young - I'd say early twenties but I didn't feel too out of place even though I am *cough* 'a little bit older'! Prices were I think on the upper end - HKD85 for a Caipirinha - but that not really unusual for Central is it? No cover charge to get in. In my view worth a visit if only for the terrace alone.
