My children are interested in unusual pets - mice and lizards. At least they're small (pets that is). Looking to build / buy an interesting mouse cage that can keep our 5 (or more) mice happy in their surroundings. Not into 1 foot square cages for animals. Likewise, my daughter demands a pet lizard for her birthday and I want to purchase (or build) a terrarium. You know with sand, rocks a small stream, real branches etc. Probably 3 or 4 feet long. Any hints? Any goods pet shops in Shenzhen/Hong Kong? How do you feed a lizard?

There's Goldfish street in Mong Kok, Tung Choi Street I think it's called. Anyway on the MTR board telling you about the area there's a picture of a fish. You can get lot's interesting cages for your mice there. Lot's big tanks with rocks for you to build a.. err a terrarium.

Perhaps i should say that i live in Shenzhen...but HK is cool.

I believe the 5 mice should last the lizzard for a good few months.
