| | Peaches,
That's easy.
Just buy a router in Apliu street, Sham Shui Po.
It costs $10 only.
I'm using it for my Cable TV.

| | | That's interesting ken21, how does it do this? The cable tv box needs to decode the signal to your router and this signal is made up of red, white, yellow cables. Are you possible talking of those $25 switch boxes? | |

not a router, but a video splitter,
you can split the decoded signal, one to ur living rm, and one to ur room.
wireless video transmitter is available
however, it's not convinence to change the channels when you watch it in ur room, becoz the Set-top-box is located in the living room

| | | They sell these along Ap Liu Street and a similar device is sold in Fotomax too. The range is not particularly good and fades when encountering hard walls. | |

| | | They also make remote control extenders, that converts the infrared into a wireless signal that can pass through walls. You could put your cable box in one room and then hook up a wireless extender on the remote.
Or just get 2 cable boxes...not sure what that would cost. Split the coax and run it to both boxes.

| | | hm, actually you just need a " Y " dispatcher after the cable-tv reciever to solve your problem. but keep in mind that both tv will always share one programm. it will not be possible to watch two different programms at the same time. therefore you need a second cable-tv decoder/reciever.
you can also go to computer arcade in sham shui po, exit d from mtr, one block in the north from the station, there you will find everything
good luck |
