| | | I do not live in Hk so im probably not the best person to give advices, but i hv a swedish great friend there, he is a web designer living in Hk for about 3 years. He is kinda experiencing difficulties in finding a job in web designing field, and he is even married with local ( Hk id card ), so he had to open his own web designing company. i would say that u should first visit Hk and take a look and experience this field in the city, so that u are pretty sure that this is what u want to do.
Tk care and Good luck | |

| | | well my gf is the AM of a very well known website designing company in hk. her pay isnt particularly good i think and there is enough local talent. it's very difficult for expats to find IT and webdesign and marketing in hk i think . i'm in marketing field and most of the jobs are order followups that need u to visit chinese factories. u have to be trilingual basically. otherwise very very specialized in fmcg or fashion industry, you have to be well connected to asian media, which is impossible if u're an expat. anyway good luck! | |
