I have got a problem with my desktop, suddenly my background was disabled, the browse and position icon also disabled. So I can't set any pictures on my desktop. Does anyone know how to fix it ? please let me know. Thank you

Are you using XP ? try right click on desktop | Properties | Desktop ... you should see a list of images available for display on your desktop..

If you are still using W98/2000 maybe a problem with your PC try www.windowsupdate.com first

yes i'm using win xp home edition. and like i said, my desktop-background was disabled also the position and browse icon. I dont know what's caused this trouble.

Try right-clicking the desktop, Properties, Desktop, Customize Desktop, Web and see if "Lock desktop items" is selected. If it is that might be the problem.
