You mean a bank without branches? I guess from the comments here that would be HSBC...

HSBC is a mixed type, where internetbanking is part of the service, I mean that kind of bank which offers the whole service by phone or internet, for example like "First Direct" in England or "Ing-Diba" in Germany.

The banking regulations here probably do not allow for an internet only outfit without a branch presence.

But yes, as PDLM says, HSBC comes to the closest. I'd be surprised if they had any functional branches where you could do any significant business, left by the end of the decade.

i swear by StanChar usually, they're really good for a bank, except their online and phone banking service is overly convoluted, so guess you'd be interested in something else.
