it's great you have a more progressive outlook on other issues, i'm not saying you're some sort of of villain. but as someone who's encountered attempts to belittle and debunk claims of bigotry in Asia before i do not accept your input in this particular thread.

sorry, but that's the way i see it.
I only speak the truth and it was not intended to be inflammatory. By refusing to acknowledge that, as you put it "white people do it too", your view is to "debunk and belittle" that it is not prevalent outside of Asia. Why not explore the global reason for it rather than limit it to some sort of Asian/HK problem as if it were specific to the region? Accept or reject doesn't make any difference to me. There is no sympathy if you cant look in the mirror. I post as I please. Deal with it.

So let me get this straight: You want to cover Jessica in ice cream but are worried about finding nuts?

Is that a padlock I see?

If Kia padlocks this, that will just demonstrate his bias and discrimination towards ice cream lovers

I said I USED to imagine this. When I saw this thread, I decided I would look out for any such discrimination. Now I realize it was probably all in my head, which is why I think it may be in yours too. Either that, or the possibility that you may be unappealing to sit next to (I don't know you, so I can't say). I never said you WERE fat or stinky or whatever, just bringing those up, since they are more likely to be the cause of discrimination, before being based on race.

Hong Kong is the most racist place I've ever been in but who cares? The locals seem harmless, just grumpy if they don't like you or yours.

I don't know anyone who pays much attn to it.

Lovely catch 22 for me there lowlight - either I'm going mad and imagining things or I am unappealing in some way. Can't I have a third choice? I'm not really bothered about all of this I just think its really funny. What I am most concerned about is that Jessica now thinks I am repulsive and I have lost my chance with the icre cream
