Investment visa application got rejected... *sigh*

I didn't have enough solid experiences back so the agent recommended me to do investment visa.
What she did was basically submitted what I gave her without coloring things up, of which I could've done it myself. *sigh*

I suggest you check out Relocenter Ltd. www.relocenter.com.hk

I feel that my Investment Visa was very 'borderline', as I had been told by another visa specialist that I had no hope. Relocenter managed to get me one no problems.

They were extremely helpful & kept me updated through every stage of the process, so can hopefully do the same for you.

Good luck...

Before you go spend money with another immigration agency, you have to figure that if you don't have solid experience as a job seeker, the chances are that is why your investment visa was rejected.

Do the ones you went with originally have a money back policy?

The rejections reason:
1. business not big enuf, hence they doubt it''ll benefit hk economy.
2. nature of business too common (IT/software firm).
3. cannot demonstrate my 5 years+ of experiences.

Now the agent asked me to rent an office space, and employ 2 ppl. before submitting reconsideration.
However this will not guarantee that the appeal will successful.

So I am thinking if I should go ahead with it or not.

Pondok,

I do not have any staff, don't have a great deal of capital & I also do not have any permanent office premises, but still managed to obtain a visa.

The main difference between you & me could be that I've lived in HK for over 5 years now & could rely on 2 local residents to sign their lives away on my behalf!!!

Relocenter also offer the 'money-back guaranteed' visa service, whereby if they take on your case & it does not get authorised, your initial deposit will be refunded to you.

I advise you to give them a quick call...

No - you're confusing an Investment Visa (which is essentially for people to set up a business here which will employ local people and add to the economy; there is no specific financial investment requirement, but you have to show a credible business plan) and the Capital Investment Entrant Scheme, which is the one where you simply bring a large amount of cash and invest it in property or local equities or similar.
