Driving license conversion (non-English language driving license) Hi there. Anyone here applied to have a HK driving license based on their non-English language home driving license? I am Swedish so I can apply to have a HK driving license issued based on my Swedish license but it does say on the form that if the license is not in English or Chinese, I need to get a "official certified translation". Anyone with experience of this? Are they 100% strict on this? If so, any ideas where to get such a translation done? Cheers!

I'd bet your consulate should be able to help you with a certified copy / translation.

yes, i have converted my german driving license and the german embassy even had some standard translation forms with emtpy fields for name etc. to quickly make the translation on the fly. the swedish embassy should offer that as well to avoid hiring a rather expensive translator for that.
