ok, i JUST realised i've missed my call up slot to get my id card replaced to the smart card. for some reason i had it in my head that it was for all of july. but i went to book an appointment for next week when i saw that the deadline was today. boo. (i blame myself for leaving things to the last minute)
so then i read that i'm liable to a $5,000 fine.
what to do, will they really implement the fine. i'm planning to call up on monday to check and book it, but i dont really have 5k to splash on a fine.
