Did they tear those down? I think it was called Greenland or Woodland, something leafy.
At my sedate pace I could easily get to the ferry in twenty minutes, from possibly the most distant point in DB.

Did you like it? I'm meant to be moving there. The rent seem to be a little lower.

Reasonable rents.Very un-hong kong feel of open public spaces, green-lined walkways etc. and milllions of kids. not far at all..22 minutes to IFC by ferry, 11 bucks.
but - eerily silent. evening seemed like late-night.
and mostly locals. most restaurants i passed printed their menus only in chinese, which was slightly puzzling coz i was expecting a more expat place.

overall, would've definitely moved there had i not got used to the buzz of living closer to Central.
go for it sunniefaith, its a fabulous deal at the rents on offer.

Thanks....That's what I thought of. The rent seem so much lower than almost everywhere else. Have to agree with you on the bit of the menus in the restaurants there. A little worrying as I can't read chinese.
