I work in HK and travel upto China 3-4 days per week so my Australian passport has become full and I need to get a new one. The Australian renewal process takes 10 days which is a pain. I was wondering during the time taken to renew can I,

1. Travel on the British passport by either leaving Hong Kong on Australian and rentering on Uk one?
2. Use the UK passport to leave Hong Kong?
3. Get a copy of the visa put into my UK passport?
4. Any other suggestions?????

Don't they have a 2 day priority service? You just need to pay a little extra for it. Or is it that they don't have that option outside of Australia? Best to have a chat with the Australian Consulate

you will not have a problem, you can keep you old asutralian passport while you wait for the new one to arrive from sydney, you just need a travel itinerary or letter from your company to show you will be travelling and need the passport. mine took less than ten days. jj
