I just found out more connections from this web page:

http://www.discoverhongkong.com/eng/...st_tuen3.jhtml

Take bus 52M from Kwai Fong MTR station, bus 52X from Mei Foo MTR station (Exit A), bus 962 from Admiralty (outside Pacific Place) or take maxicab 140M from Tsing Yi MTR station, get off at the Gold Coast.

Hi all!

Same than Sam... I am new here, little late in the thread, but desperate to find a place/partners for any type of volleyball (beach/indoor). Any tip or location more than welcomed!

Hihi,

Visiting Feb 11-19

Hi all,

I'm a fairly advanced male volleyball player from California, visiting Hong Kong from Feb 11-19... and I'd LOVE to play while I'm in town.

Staying in Causeway Bay... unfortunately, I don't speak Cantonese, but I think it'd be fun anyway.

Please drop me an e-mail if you know anywhere I could play.

Thanks!

Andy

Indoor Volleyball- LATE + short session 18th July 2007

Hey everyone,
will like to invite people to come and join my friends and I for a game of social volleyball. We're not beginners but not very high-level either. So if you're looking for advanced volleyball game, this is probably not for you! I have opening for 6 players, so please RSVP, ASAP!

Here are the details:

18th July 2007, Wed, 10-11pm
Shek Tong Shui Sports Center, the Arena
SHEK TONG TSUI MUNICIPAL SERVICES BUILDING, 470 QUEEN'S ROAD WEST

Cheers!

PS: I have another booking on 8th Aug, same time same place. If I get good responses, I'll consider making it a weekly thing! 2 hour slots are hard to get, so bear with me!

Another vball enthuiasist new to HK - looking to setup games

Hi all,

I recently relocated back to HK from Toronto, Canada, and am looking to resume my beach volleyball interests.

I play semi-competitive court and beach ball in Canada, but I'm open to playing at any level. My main intent is to meet some fellow players who could play regularly. After reading the posts, it seems like many people are looking to play at some sort of an organized level.

I would be more than happy to organize a beach/court game for people who are interested. It may be as simple as setting a time at a location where everyone will go.

If you guys are interested please reply to this thread or contact me at alec.chan@gmail.com. Please state location suggestions.

I'm shooting for this or next weekend (aug 4/5, 11/12). Of course after that is fine, too.

Thanks!

Can't make it

... unfortunately.

But I take the opportunity to ask a question : do anybody knows where the beach-volley spot is in Discovery Bay?

I went there several times on the week-end, and despite the fact that there is only one beach, and supposedly players all the time,... I could never find any :/

Any tips is welcomed then!

Otherwise, for beach-volley addicts, there is a great spot at Tuen Mun (Gold Beach), little far from HK Island but good level (the official HK teams train there) and usually open-minded if you ask kindly.

Cheers to all volley-ball fans!
