We will be moving fron NYC to HK in the next couple of months. My 3 yo is currently in a great preschool here and I am looking for good preschool options for him. Do people usually live near the schools or is commute a non-issue? We are clueless about the whole process - the NYC process was quite daunting. Is HK similar? Please advise. We would like to live in a central location.

All the schools, from the ESF to the international schools have a very decent bus service, so there is a bit of choice available as to where you can live.

the international schools ive seen have buses which pick up the kids in the morning and take them home after school. bus mothers are on the bus to look after the kids.
