Indian Expat moving to Hong Kong from Singapore

Hi, I am an Indian Expat living in Singapore since past 10 years.
Recently, I am been given a potential opening in Hong Kong. I need help to understand :-

Q1. what should I expect in terms of housing, children education, medical etc. in Hong Kong?

Q2. What is the cost of living in HK$ for a family with wife and 3 primary school (Pri-3, Pri-1)going children?

Q3. Is there some kind of Indian Schools and can anyone suggest the potential fees for them?

Q4. What would be the cost of basic medical and hospitalisation/ insurance? Is it required or govt provides it?

Q5. What about the dependent passes for the family?

Regards

Krishan, A lot would depend on what you do and who you do it for. Pizza delivery boys are on a different lifestyle and pay scale than say the head of IT for a US investment bank.

No Indian schools here in HK. There is a Singaporean school and the ESF (english schools foundation) runs on a UK curriculum.

Browse around ... most of the stuff you're asking for can be answered through the forums search ...

Thanks for the link. I will definitely go and browse through it.

As for your question, I am an IT Quality and Project Management Consultant with 15+ years experience. My children are primary school going K1, K2, P2 and I have 1 maid, and I save around 40-45% of my salary.

The position being offered is an Head of IT Audit based in Hong Kong. In Singapore, I get annual around Singapore $115-135K, and I understand HK Dollar is around 1 S$ to 5 HK$, so can I expect HK$500K-HK$650K
OR
what should I expect, to match my current lifestyle, family, children education and savings.

Hope this can help to provide more information for me

BR,
