We have reserved a table at
Skitz sportsbar in WanChai, 18 Fenwick Street (
http://www.skitzbar.com). I have watched 24 live matches at Skitz so far and attendance at our geoexpat table has varied substantially from day to day. By far the biggest turn-out (and best atmosphere) was for the Germany games and the place was completely full for every single one, making reservations absolutely essential. We have reserved six (6) seats for the two semifinals and fifteen (15) for the final, the geoexpat table is in my name: 'Axel'. Once the reserved number of seats has been allocated, Skitz will only let you in if you pay a cover charge (currently $150 but it is supposed to go up for the final), which includes three standard drinks. There have always been a number of no-shows in our group, which meant that everyone always got a seat even when more people had signed-up than we had reservations for. There is also a fair bit of standing room close to our table. However, to assist with the necessary preparations, it will be very helpful if you
sign-up for these events by posting your intention to attend in this thread.

Here are the directions to Skitz:
Take Exit C at the WanChai MTR and turn left onto Lockhart Road, walk straight (past Luard Road) until Fenwick Street, which is the second intersection / traffic light. Turn right and cross the street (Lockhart) and walk one block over. The next street is Jaffe Rd and
Skitz is at the
corner of Fenwick & Jaffe across the street from the Jaguar car dealership. After you pass 'security', walk up the stairs. Turn right at the top of the stairs, walk past the main bar area and turn left , continue past the pool table, toilet doors and dart board. We are in the room at the far end, called 'Les Visages' and have our usual table at the back of the room facing the plasma TV. The staff will probably show you but just in case ... best way to get there is to walk towards the giant 150 inch screen and when you reach it, turn left and then at the end, turn left again ...
