Anyone know much about the surfing here? Best beaches, board shops, etc?

Can't say I know much about surfing although I like the lifestyle.

I've been body boarding at Shek O's Big Wave Beach. But the waves are short and even the top people there can only get up and ride for 5-10 seconds before the wave collapses.

I've heard theres a nicer beach in Sai Kung but you have to hike 1 hour with your board to get there.

Tell me if you find any nicer beaches around.
