Very tedious but.....

Hi

I know that this has probably been asked a million times but I would love clarification of some questions. My boyfriend is moving out on 1st March to Hong Kong from the UK - he has got a job starting out there the week after. I am intending to join him and get a job out there and would appreciate some help with the following:

1) Is the job market picking up in HK?
2) Should I apply for a work visa before heading out to HK even if I am not yet currently sposored by anyone?
3) What grounds could they reject my application and is it possible to get another one through a sponsor later on?
3) How easy is it to transfer visa's across from a holiday one to a work visa
4) is the Chinese Embassy website the best/only place for visa applications
5) How long is a holiday visa eligible for and can it be renewed?
6) If you have a TEFAL qualification - is it easy to get work out there?

Sorry to be such a pain and hope not too boring but would appreciate the help.

They always want NATIVE ENGLISH TEACHERS in Hong Kong, so it's probably quite easy to find a teaching position in Hong Kong - if you have the credentials.

There is a need for native english teachers in HK, but it still can be difficult to find someone to sponsor you even if you have experience and qualification. Good luck though, you just might get lucky.
