shoddy workers I'm getting kitchen cupboards fitted. The workers came to fit them but realised they somehow measured 10 inches too little. so now, they want to just add a small extra door and be done with it - cheap and easy option. i've said its unacceptable as it will look crap and just NO. i want them to change it to how i want it to be done - the original design but just to fit the space. they are not cooperating. unfortunately i have paid for the thing. is there anything i can do.. legally or any other way? btw it pisses me off how they wont even acknowledge they made a mistake.

The moral of the story is never, ever pay for something that you haven't seen. (OK, maybe a deposit - 1--30%, but never the whole lot - you have no bargaining power at all now.)

Do you have a contract or something that you and the company signed off on?
