| JBest Alice - as the poster for the thread, I think you should take the responsibility for organising it!! Hi JBest:You 're totally right!i should take the responsibility to organising it!!!But,as the matter of fact,i don't really know the path/Route that i can hiking for!If i organised it,i should be perfectly know how to get there with responsibilityl.Otherwise,i may fall in trouble !At the same time,i need to consider everyone personal safety!!!!So,i would rather someone to organise it instead! Besides that ,if someone who is well know about hiking route and welling to contribute their time to guide us and organise it.i would really like to be a roll caller!hehe Take care and have a good day!Looking forward to hear you guy advices~ Alice Last edited by Alicechan; 06-07-2006 at 12:07 AM. |

| well, is anyone is up for hiking up Mt Stenhouse from Yung Shue Wan on Lamma on Saturday? AliceChan, you can do the roll call at the ferry pier? I have a map and GPS(although it's no possible to get lost on Lamma ), someone needs to bring spare water bottle and a first aid kit and a mobile phone, BBQ coals for beach afterwards, fishing line to catch dinner, shark repellant, and lots of silly smiles and poses for any photographers.I have NO MONEY which is driving me nuts, actually i have $8 which is not even enough to leave the island... so I propose a wholesome "free" day out. This is not a boozy expat day in Yung Shue Wan bars, OK?! So who is up for it? |

I really would not recommend trying to get to the top of Mt Stenhouse as suitable for novice hikers. Many novices regard the walk from Yung Shue Wan to Sok Kwu Wan as quite tough enough (particularly at 30+ degrees). Last edited by PDLM; 06-07-2006 at 10:45 AM. |
