We are moving to Shanghai from Hong Kong in a couple months time. I will be having another baby soon and already have a 1 year old. New baby will be born in Hong Kong, and then we move. My question is, does anyone have experiences they can share about their move to Shanghai, especially compared to Hong Kong? I would like to know if you liked it there, how does it compare, did you get more for your money, is the expat community even tighter than in Hong Kong, challenges/benefits, etc? Any honest feedback about how you liked/disliked Shanghai and how you found the transition would be most helpful. We are moving regardless, I just want to know what to expect. Thanks for your time.

I am told the pollution is worse. But overall prices are way better.

well i only know that they speak shanghainese up there and not cantonese.
