Dear all,

I will be visiting Hongkong for the first time in July and staying at Tsim Sha Tsui (Mirarmar Hotel).

I'm interested where can i buy car accessories in HK? Esp performance parts. Also, i'm keen to get some leather goods and computer stuff. Will Shenzhen be a better choice?

BTW, is disneyland any fun or even worth the HKD350?

I can speak fluent mandarin and cantonese so i believe getting around wont be a problem.

There are a lot of car accessory shops around the Nelson street area in Mong Kok. It might be more stereos and in car accessories but these guys will most likely be able to point you in the right direction.

Ocean Park is far better than Disney in my opinion. My 7 year old daughter has been to Disney once and chooses Ocean Park hands down every time and hence hasn't been back to Disney but has been back to Ocean park at least half a dozen times since.

Personally I enjoy Ocean Park, I found Disney aimed at small kids and therefore didn't like it.

Of course that is just the opinion of myself and my 7 year old daughter.

for car accessories....mongkok is the place

also i recommend ocean park instead of disney

most of the shops in mongkok only sell accessories like bulbs, head units, stickers and not performance parts. if you want accessories sham shui po is cheaper look around ap lui street there are only 2 shops and one is big being 2 shops joined into one.

there are a few shops in mongkok that tune cars and a popular one is crazy racing and their cars feature in the magazines. other places you can try for performance parts are in kowloon bay www.supergt.com.hk
in yuen long www.man-autoparts.com for things like ecu, flywheel, exhausts

Hi ! Do these shops sell detailing stuff like polish and wax ? I'm looking for a place that sell full range of Meguiars.

Anyone could recommend a good place for detailing, not those shop in shopping mall car park ?

yes the accessories shops have meguiars, mothers, autoglym, 3m etc
