Is there a theatre in HK that plays independant films (western, NOT just chinese)? Independant American film, French film etc...I can't seem to find one. Please help.

Hong Kong Arts Centre - Agnes B Cinema- often has a variety of films, experimental and festival etc. Is the Italian fim festival finished? Also HK Film Archive has a good programme of HK fims and also other variety of countries. I think Goethe has a german series of films planned for there, end of the month...

wow, what a nice surprise. i'm not sure about the Italian film festival...in fact, i wasn't even aware of it as I just moved back some weeks ago.

is the Film Archive in the IFC? I was surprised to see some classic film review playing at the theatre there, but since it's IFC, I figured it would only play the blockbusters.
