| | | What kind of jazz? I believe there is a couple of Trad/Swing bands about. I need to check where (can't remember). There is a club on Old Bailey Street (I think) that has a band on Saturday nights that play some jazz standards, latin and fusion tunes. | |

| | | The FCC has live jazz Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (getting a bit more upbeat/bluesy late on Friday). But you need to be or be with a member to get any drinks.
The band on the junk cruise on Thursday is the FCC house band.

Anyone been to Gekko? Heard that it's a good place for jazz too.

| | | There's a Big Band jazz performance on the last Saturday of the month (i.e. this week) at the Fringe Club - not that jazz is really my thing, and I don't have much to compare it with, but I went a couple of months ago and had a good time... | |

| | | Bohemian Lounge I believe the place in Old Bailey Street is called Bohemian Lounge and after a quick google the details are:
3-5 Old Bailey Street, Hong Kong
Tel: 852 2526 6099
I was there last weekend and the band were really good. I think they were Japanese but they knocked out some great tunes including Miles Davis.
Have fun,

| | | Yeah, it was far too cramped to dance - one of the people I was there with left early on because she didn't feel comfortable in the crowd...
Also, went to Ned Kelly's in TST on Tuesday night (after the Delaney's pub quiz) where there is a jazz band - not bad at all, in a pub band sort of way, and with a sense of humour about themselves and their music, which was nice. | | Tools | Search | | | | | Rate This Thread | | | All times are GMT +8.
