hi,

does anyone know where I can buy decent greeting cards in HK - birthday/anniversary,etc? Apart from Hallmark that is! I have searched high & low for some funky cards to send back to the UK but just can't find anything

thanks

Expensive - yes, funky probably not. Try Papyrus. The Dymocks at Star Ferry has a better selection than the one in IFC. I saw a place in Wan Chai that looked like it had potential - 1st floor on the same side as the Hopewell Centre but back a little bit toward Admiralty but haven't been up. Good Luck.

There's a great selection in Log-On, a funky shop in Festival Walk, the shopping centre at Kowloon Tong MTR (a couple of stops on from Mong Kok).

Yep I refuse to pay 80HKD for a birthday card that would cost so much less in the UK, in Papyrus!

I've seen the shop you're talking about in Wanchai too - think I might take a look later today

Thanks guys.

Is that place any good? Or did you manage to find any other shop? Thought I better ask before heading down myself...

Page One also has some on stands - pop-ups, illustrations, die-cuts, etc etc.

Hi, the place in Wanchai has closed! I got all the way there and it had shut down. Anyway, there's a good shop in Times Square - I think it's the 9th floor just past Starbucks called Paper & Things. Pretty good, and reasonable prices

art paper

I realised that what I am looking for I can propably only find in art shops. Coloured art paper & envelopes, etc.
There must be some in HK, anybody knows where art students get their supply?

There is a place called Brushstrokes at the bottom of Pottinger St (never been in though) and one in Wan Chai that had alot of art supplies - I can't recall the name but put HK art Supplies into google and that is how I found it I think. lastly in the Queensway arcede by Delifrance there is a paper shop - lots of colours.

Try Log-On. Lots of choices. There are 3 shops...
Basement level in Time Square Causeway Bay
Harbour City TST
Festival Walk Kowloon Tong
