Any recommendations for serviced and furnished apartments?

My husband and I will be moving to Hong Kong in March. We would like to find a nice serviced or furnished 2 bedroom apartment. Does anyone have any recommendations? We would greatly appreciate your help!

Hi Glo,

You might want to take a look at http://www.gohome.com.hk for an overview of what is available in Hong Kong.

You can also try the Shama Apartments that are right opposite Times Square in Causeway Bay, or Ovolo Apts on Arbuthnot Street in Central. I have been told that those are quite nice as well.

I have a question about Olovo: I guess it's a small building, right? I am wondering if I can hear the street noise such as car running by at night since if it's not a high-rise. This is one of a couple of candidates I am looking now. Thanks.

Arbuthnot Road [Ovolo] shouldn't be too noisy since it's not really that near to Lan Kwai Fong or Elgin/Staunton Street.

Thanks all for responses. Paul: I understand HK is a metro city and street noises are always there (I am working in NYC). However, if I can stay in a tall building, I will hear nothing. Another choice I have is a room somewhere from 37th fl to 50th fl. However, it seems that Ovolo has better services and the apartment is bigger. Anyone knows that building (Ovolo)? Is it true that it's a short building? Thanks.

Alex, it is a short building but its on a fairly quiet road. I work next to it and can assure you that the traffic is not as bad as some of the major roads.

It might get a bit noisy during the day (weekends is an issue if you stay at home nursing a hangover) because of bus traffic.
