I'm interested to know as well. A little skydiving or bungee jumping is good for the soul.

I am climbing with a club in HK. But they mostly climb on artificial walls and unless you are "leading" (with the rope behind you instead of in front), it is not that "scary", more like tiring. To be scared, one need to climb on a real wall, but the summer weather in HK (hot & rainy) is not conductive to that.

Mountain biking could be extreme. I have seen some trails here that are wet & steep & rocky, which will would give you a rush going down.

Hi there,

I am thinking off picking up kitesurfing. Is anyone interested in joining me?

I am a true beginner. And of course on the other hand, if you have some experiences already. Please share your excitement with me.

Thanks indeed.

Cheers

I heard most people go surfing at 'Big Wave Bay' down by Stanley, but the waves arent that impressive except for a few times a year when the locals take it over. I think it's more of a bodyboarding kind of set, and I heard that on the weekends it's really crowded. BUT, don't let me stop you. If you find a way to do it, I'd love to give it a try. Because I'm pretty sure that you need someone to cast your kite when you're in the water anyway.

Hi, I've not arrived in HK yet - (3 weeks to go!) but am always up for an adrenaline rush - I am aware of the Macau tower jump - which is something like 340meters, a few ropes and off you go...getting stopped only 2meters from the ground! Looks as about as intense as your going to get (...and apparnetly their safety record is 100% s guess thats a bonus!)
just an idea!

Ahoy Jason it is possible to Kite board in HK. and have been looking into doing it. however i hear it is rather dangerous to learn so im heading abroad to a kiteboarding school at the end of the year. however here is a site you might like

www.kite2high.com

all the best

James
