Anyone know of a place that has a live band playing some good music that you could swing dance to? (any night of the week)

I went to a swing dance lesson here and I was sorely dissappointed...if you know of a good place for lessons (maybe advanced or intermediate) that would be much appreciated too.

For anyone else who's interested, someone sent me this website which details info on Swing Night at The Fringe Club every Wednesday. They're looking for more people to join in, and it's really cheap - only $40 a lesson. Try it out.

I did go to Fringe Club tonight, but there was no swing dancing.

However I got a schedule and Modern Dance and Salsa are scheduled over the next couple of months on certain Wednesdays & Thursdays for anyone who's interested.

So I'm back to square one....anyone know of a place to go swing dancing in Hong Kong?

They moved tonight's event to Grappas Cellar in the basement of Jardine House. I think next week we'll be going back to a lesson-style format, but you should email Emily/Karen at hkswings@gmail.com for more info.

hey swing dancers!

HKSwings was started a few months ago and we've been seeking swing dancers in Hong Kong to join us!! Especially LEADS. We've been holding beginners lessons at the Fringe Club on Wednesdays and sometimes dancing to the live band at Grappa's. We're completely non profit and dance for the love of it, with volunteer teachers, which is why our classes are cheap and more like friendly gatherings than formal sessions.
