H-Studio and De Victoria Service Apartment

Hi Everyone,

I will be relocating to HK in about 2 weeks time and was wondering if anyone has heard of anything about the following Serviced Apartments:

H-Studio ( located in Happy Valley)
De Victory (located in Causeway Bay)

Thanks,
pc

We looked at those two companies a month ago when we moved in.

1. H studio - there wasn't any units avail at the time.
2. Victoria Studio - the lady that answered the phone was extremely rude and I don't just mean the usual forgivable Asian rudeness mentality. We scheduled a time to view the studio and when we couldn't find it, we simply asked for detailed directions over the phone and she proceeds to berate us for not knowing where to go. Needless to say, we hung up on her and never looked back. Caveat emptor.

Thanks!
I have decided to not go with any of them but, stay in a hotel.

It seems that some of the hotels in HK have a Summer Special and the rates are comparable to a Serviced Apartment...withou the Kitchen and minimum 2-3 month rental.

Hi mate,

Sorry for the late response...it has been a crazy last few weeks with movers and stuff...I am finally in HK.

I am staying at the Emperor (Happy Valley) Hotel.
It's not too bad, depending on your budget. You should check out www.emperorhotel.com.hk

The hotel is a good 15-20mins walk to Causeway Bay but, the hotel provides me free shuttle service to Time Square every morning...and I just take the Tram home or a taxi. A taxi from Causeway Bay is about $15HKD.

Anyways, if you need any advice message me.

Cheers!

De Victoria is a joke. I saw a huge cockroach on my floor the moment I walked in (Nov 05. The room was so small, there was a machine to lift the bed to the roof during the day! Zero windows, horrible staff, had to fight to get my deposit back. Nice lobby! Unfortunately, it's one of the few cheap places I found (10k per month, less than 200feet).
