Hi all,

Yea, there's plenty to do in HK. Depends on your likes and stuff and the best thing is you can still do stuff after work. I'm from Scotland and after work virtually all the shops are closed ... this doesn't happen in HK.

In some places, they are open 24/7!

Hey, if you are free ... there's a beach party happening Sunday 16th July in Pui O Beach on Lantau. Here are the details:
Lantau Party

Hopefully catch up with you sometime.

Wink

Hi.
I arrived in HK some weeks ago, and I find it hard to meet people, since I don't really like to show up alone in a bar.
If there are some people like me, who arrived recently, just let me know, we could try some good places in Lan Kwai Fong!

Hi Arnaud,

Check the forums, sometimes Geoexpat members have get togethers in LKF. Just sign up with them and join in the party.

No probs about the beach party. I am sure there will be more. Check the website for deatils of next one. BTW, I had a blast.

cardany has a little shameless behaviour in the past
NO If you're under 20, you're not going to enjoy any geoexpat get togethers, unless you like hanging out with people much older than you, and I'm speaking from my own experience. (Okay people are going to neg-rep me for this comment haha)

I'm 19 from Los Angeles. Send me a PM if you girls want to party!

anyone remember THE FLYING PIG?
that was always fun!
I used to literally live in the flying pig. Becky and Hamish behind the bar. The pool table. Killer on Thursdays. Remember that Mes Amis underneath used to be a Mercedes Garage in those days!

you know what, i agree with that. there is such a wide range of people on geo that its kinda hard to decide/know which meet up to go to.. i've been to a couple of the big meets before and definately no offence, since everyone seemed really nice, but i have almost nothing in common with a middle aged expat sent over with a high ranking job - unless i wanna find me a new job!! :P

its actually nice to see so many new meets popping up recently aimed for 20 sth's or unemployed people's etc. atleast you can be more specific about what group of people you want to meet up with.

Most of the people here fit into your category anyway and a lot of the guys out last night at the cavern were in your age bracket.

Theres only a small bunch of us that are over 30. the majority of my friends here are in there early to mid twenties.
