If you explore the area between Tai Po Road and Cheung Sha Wan Road you will find numerous fabric shops (retail and wholesale). The majority of them are shut of a Sunday, but if you walk around any other day of the week, I'm sure you'll find what you are looking for.

Go to Sham Shui Po and try the streets Yu Chau Street, Ki Lung Street and Tai Nan Street (they are all parallel to each other). Start at where these streets cross Nam Cheong Street and walk toward Prince Edward. You will see little shops displaying lots of swatch cards of different fabrics. Usually the English of the shopkeepers is not that good but it'll suffice to inform you if they have stock or not. Just point at the swatches. Last edited by dicesix; 16-06-2006 at 10:58 AM.

all above suggestions are good...but I would always prefer a shot trip to Shenzhen...in Lowu Commercial complex, there are a number of fabric shops selling dirt cheap....definitely worth a try...good luck...
