| if you want to attend a licit Mass celebrated by a priest in communion with Rome, the best approach is to go to the Philippines, Spanish or Latin American embassies and find out when they have Mass and ask to attend those. (I had friends living there who used to do this even though they weren't citizens of those countries). Failing that, go to one of the patriotic churches but bear in mind that they are in schism. Xujiahui has a big cathedral and is a very interesting area historically, as that area was donated to the church by the descendents of the first Catholic convert in the Ming or Ching dynasty court. |
