Does anyone know where to buy those China Unicom SIM cards that are flogged on the Luo Hu line? The one where the fat lady stands on the man's SIM card, that have both HK and mainland numbers.

For that matter, are they worth buying? I spend most of my weekends in SZ and my weekdays in HK, so I am getting tired of switching SIM cards. But then I could use international roaming, except that anyone that wanted to call me (SZ to SZ) would have to pay IDD rates.

you will be wise to purchase a China Unicom simcard which provides 1-china number & 1-Hk no.

Most people worked out the call charge is still a lot cheaper compare to purely pay on the roaming by using HK sim card tho.

Just simply divert your HK daily mobile no to the Unicom HK's Number, so whenever anyone in hk would like to reach you, they dont have to know whether you are in HK or China, just simply call the usual HK mobile no.

I can't find any Unicom shops though. Lots of Sundays and Peoples but no Unicom.

I think they sell it in some convenient stores like 7-11. you may want to try. Or you can buy it at Lo Hu shops after you pass the China custom (still in the same buiding).

If you have many calls in Hong Kong during week days, it'll be much cheaper to use a monthly plan. Also, the CS of unicom in hong kong is bad, though CS in mainland seems OK.
