...as a typical Brit prolonged periods of rain result in a need to lie on a beach somewhere... So I need a week away and want to go somewhere relatively close (don't want to spend the holiday travelling)..

So bearing in mind the monsoon weather that is in this part of the world.. where is my best destination with the greatest likelihood of good weather this time of year??
