Hahaha...it's more than that! Hate my current boss to the core...I didn't even bother to give him the resignation letter face to face...just shoved it into his pigeon hole!

Nationality of expats

Hi all, I have a question. Do you think there might be a difference in the wait between applicants of different nationality?

Another question is if you are from a non-English country, your supporting will also almost all be in the country's original language. How does the Immigration deal with this? Anyone has any ideas?

Thanks...and congradulations to those who've finally got their permits!

Cheers!

If your supporting documents are not in English or Chinese then I believe the responsibility is on you to provide certified translations into one of those langauges.

Congrats Peaches. I've been waiting six weeks now... When you say you just got back from Macau - did you need to leave the country to get the visa validated?

Congradulations Peaches! I am really happy for you and good luck to brat!

Another question from me? Do you all have degrees/diplomas? If the applicant has lots of work experience, do you think the educational background is going to be a problem?

Would like to know more... Thanks.

so here's a question- what do you do in the interim? while you're waiting for your visa can you work on a consultant basis or something? or do you just have a 6 week vacation?
