Time given to Dependent Entry Visa before expiration

Good day Everyone,

Is there a deadline given by the HK immigration department to overseas Dependent Entry Visa to enter HK?

Every advise is appreciated. Thank you.

Alvyn,
Once sticker has been issued, you can enter any time before expiry of visa.. However, you might be aware of restriction that a person needs to stay at least six months of the year in order to smoothly get further extension.. Otherwise you would have hard time convincing them..

does that apply to dependent visas ? i.e. if my wife choose to stay less than 6mths, but i am in hk myself most of the year, what would be the 'direction' the immigration would take then ?

Freeier,
That should not be a problem.. Actually i didnt clarify it further that less than six months of stay by dependant in any year would in fact make things difficult when he/she applies for ROA after 7 yrs..
